Input Controls:

  • Enter - Creates a new sibling item immediately after current item
  • Shift + Enter - Creates a new sibling after all child items (if any)
  • Shift + Alt + Enter - Creates parent's sibling (uncle node) from child position
  • Tab - Creates a child item (indents to next level)
  • Shift + Tab - Move to parent level (outdent)
  • Backspace on empty line - Delete line and move up
  • Escape - Save and exit editing mode

Navigation (Alt + Arrow Keys):

  • Alt + ↑ - Navigate to previous item
  • Alt + ↓ - Navigate to next item
  • Alt + ← - Navigate to parent item
  • Alt + → - Navigate to first child item

Items with children automatically become folders with /
